DEFINING FEATURES Though she doesn't lack pupils, they are very hard to see. One may think she is blind, due to the clouded-grey color, but this is far from true. At night, her eyes even offer a faint glow that seem as though they could enchant anyone who stares long enough into them.
MARKINGS Her body is mostly blemish free, save for the freckles that dot her skin.

AETHERIC SIGNATURE Those who can sense aether would notice a fairly niche aether signature within this Viera. They would sense a calm nature about her, but there seems to be more to her. Just as well, Nelva has aethersight.

A bit akward to talk to at first, as she has not been away from the Skatay Range for long.
She is a bookworm and even goes as far as collecting them for the sake of hording them. To her, if they are not in her possession, then they are in danger of being destroyed.
Nelva can speak Hingan, due to her travels to Kugane, but it's very broken and she weirdly has a bit of a lisp when trying to pronounce some words.
Her ears tend to give her away when it comes to her emotions - as does her tail.
She is painfully curious, and will go to great lengths to satiate that curiosity.

Avid Fisher- Nelva has a strong love for fishing. it seems to bring her peace in the most stressful of times. maybe you've seen her while out on an excursion and saw how excited she was to catch a large fish! if you see her out in the wilds on her little stool with rod in hand, stop by and say hello!
Aethersight- Recently, she discovered her talents for aethersight and can often see, but not commune, with the dead. This may seem like a useless talent, being unable to speak with them, but it has come in handy time and time again. Is there something she may notice with your character?
Veena- It has been a couple years now since Nelva left her village. She knows, surely, some of her kin may have left as well. Perhaps, you are an exiled Veena as well? Or, even a Rava looking to find solace. (If you would like to create a pre-estabolished relationship for this hook, please reach out to me first!)

Scholar- Recently, Nelva has been spending a majority of her time in Sharlayan, focusing on her studies. She isn't quite sure what path she wishes to take yet, but she is enjoying the learning nonetheless. If you are a fellow student, please come say hi! Maybe, they can have a study date or discuss lectures over a cup of tea.
Ishgard- Nelva eventually found her way back to Ishgard when the lack of snow was far too depressing for her. she now lives in a small apartment in Empyrium and frequents the Forgotten Knight. maybe, you've seen the out-of-place Veena meandering the courtyards of Foundation!
Botanist- If there is one thing Nelva can go on and on about, it's plants! Should you have a similar interest, she would love to sit down over a cup of tea and chat for hours.
Nelva was born and raised among the veena viera of the skatay range. Her village, ymir, was tucked away deep within the thick forest. To get there, one would need to traverse the treacherous terrain and escape the ever-watchful gaze of the forest's warders.
For over a century, nelva was raised learning to gather, forage, sew, and hunt. It was the usual way for the tribal viera, but nelva became restless as she grew older. After over a century of a monotonous routine, being unable to bare kits, and with the tragic loss of her mate, the frustrated Veena made the tough decision to leave her village.Upon her arrival in Eorzea, Nelva spent a large majority of her new-found independence in Ishgard. She worked several jobs to keep herself busy and utilized it as a way to learn their language. At first, she was seen as a lower-class citizen, but her perseverance proved her to be more than just an outsider.
Often, Nelva would eavesdrop outside of the Saint Endalim's Scholasticate and would take notes about their lectures and discussions. This would eventually create a budding interest in becoming a scholar herself.Eventually, with the encouragement of her peers, she took off for an opportunity of a life time when she was accepted to study at the studium of Sharlayan. The Veena found her passion with studying plants of varying types - her favorite being the more poisonous variety. Just as well, she quickly took an interest in various fungi. Recently, she has been looking to expand on her budding passion after completing her studies.

Interests: RP partners 21+ as I am 21+. Long story arcs. Meaningful and lasting relationships. Extensive character arcs/development. Dark themes. Slice of life. Adventures. Pre-estabolished relationships (to be discussed first). Mirror roleplayer, happy to write paragraphs or rapid-fire responses.
Disinterests: I am not looking for 'one night stands'. my character is meant for stories, therefore I prefer slow burns. Detailed gore scenes. I will not be killing off this character and have no interest in long-term injuries. Other options can be discussed.

I have been roleplaying on mmos for roughly 6ish years and for roughly 6+ years with D&D. I have experience with DM'ing and running events, as well as world building!
